Born and raised in Northern Californian, I have been living in and calling home Washington DC for the past 7 years. My formal background is in the San Francisco art world, and painting vintage furniture has become a totally rewarding second career. I started selling at a little booth at the Georgetown Flea Market several years ago, and then began consigning with Stylish Patina at their barn location in Frederick, MD. The barn is now called Sweet Clover and is run by a fabulous DIY team of women who have been painting furniture for much longer than me. The barn is such a beautiful place & I feel inspired every time I drive out there:
